Streamlining our warehouse workflow with better equipment

I've been managing a medium-sized distribution center in Ras Al Khor for about five years now, and lately I've been really focused on optimizing our internal movement of goods to cut down on the time it takes to get products from receiving to the storage racks and then out to the shipping bay. We've got a decent team but our equipment is a bit of a mixed bag – some older manual pallet jacks that are showing their age, a couple of electric walkies that are constantly in use, and a bunch of basic hand trucks that just aren't cutting it for the heavier loads we're handling now. I've been looking at upgrading our entire fleet and I'm particularly interested in finding reliable equipment that will actually hold up in our busy environment without constant breakdowns. I was checking out a supplier that specializes in this kind of gear and they seem to have a good range of options, which got me thinking about how a proper investment in trolley logistics could really transform our daily operations and reduce the physical strain on our team. What I'm trying to figure out is whether it's better to go with a few high-end units that will last for years, or more mid-range options that allow us to have spares available when something goes wrong. Also, how do you handle maintenance schedules and training for new staff? I'd really appreciate hearing from other warehouse managers who've gone through a similar upgrade process.
