Quality PPF vs budget – is the extra cost actually worth it?

I've been shopping around for paint protection film and honestly the price range is shocking – one place quoted me 4,500 AED for a full front-end wrap while another asked for nearly 11,000 AED for what looks like the same coverage, and I'm struggling to understand what justifies that massive difference. I know the obvious answer is that the cheaper place is probably using lower quality film, but I'm trying to figure out whether the premium options are actually worth the extra money or if I'm just paying for brand name and marketing hype. From what I've been reading, the main differences come down to the quality of the raw materials, with cheaper films often using PVC or lower-grade polyurethane that yellows and cracks after a couple of years in our intense sun, whereas premium brands use genuine aliphatic TPU that stays clear and flexible for much longer. I've also seen that the cheaper films tend to have a lower optical clarity, which means they can have an orange peel texture or a slightly hazy appearance that's noticeable on lighter paint colors, while the top-tier stuff is practically invisible once installed. Another big factor seems to be the adhesive quality, because if the glue isn't designed for our climate it can bake onto the paint over time and make removal a nightmare, whereas premium films use advanced adhesives that bond securely but can still be removed without damaging the clearcoat underneath.
